Teachers at HALE – LEARN TO FLY are selected based on the criteria of being ready to step back and speak less to make room for students to practice and train using English continuously.
Teachers always combine learning new words/structures with interactive apps, experiential games in many different ways to make the class always fun, engaging, and towards the goal that students will increasingly love learning language and master the 4 skills of LISTENING – SPEAKING – READING – WRITING.

Ha Pham and Thuy Le are the founders of HALE PRACTICAL LANGUAGE CENTER.
I have a passion for accompanying my son and exploring interesting things during his growth and development in Australia. I may not be persistent, but when it comes to my child’s education, I always focus on accompanying him.
My friend is very passionate about education in our country and has over 15 years of experience teaching English at all levels from primary to university. Our stories always revolve around education topics such as the differences between the Australian and Vietnamese education systems, the advantages of each system, and what we can learn and apply for our children and students who are studying.
For me, maintaining my mother tongue for my child is a challenge because only I speak Vietnamese at home, and my neighbors and friends all speak English. Like me, my Vietnamese friends who are living in some other states in Australia or in the US or Europe are in the same situation. Even though their parents used to speak Vietnamese with them when they were little, once they started going to school and interacting with their teachers and friends, they developed a habit of speaking English/French when they came back home.
Moreover, teaching children to read and write in Vietnamese is even more challenging when parents are not teachers and do not have time to prepare lessons systematically to help their children learn continuously and stay interested throughout the process.
Because we deeply understand the difficulties that Vietnamese parents living abroad face in maintaining their children’s Vietnamese language skills, my friend and I have decided to launch the first online Vietnamese language courses: teaching children how to read and write, followed by advanced courses to help them write complete sentences and paragraphs, and to learn about the culture of Vietnam, the country of the Vietnamese people.
We have been and are turning our dreams into reality, which is to bring the advantages, advanced curriculum from Australia to teach children in Vietnam, and to teach Vietnamese language and culture to Vietnamese children living abroad.
